thatfor.me is run by Splitlight (splitlight.co.uk), United Kingdom. This page explains what we collect when you use our little apps, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in on the web we receive your email address and name from Clerk, our sign-in provider. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture; we store the name and email.
- Phone number. When you message our WhatsApp number we store your phone number so we can reply and show you your jobs.
- The files you send. Photos and other media you send on WhatsApp or upload on the site, any caption you add, and the results we generate from them (for example 3D model files and preview images).
- Payments. Purchases go through Stripe. We store the pack you bought, the amount and a Stripe reference. We never see or store your card details.
- Usage. Job timestamps, status and credit balance, plus standard server logs.
How we use it
Only to run the service: to turn the file you send into the result you asked for, send it back to you, keep your history, take payment, and fix problems. We do not sell personal data or use your files to train models.
Who processes it for us
Your data is handled by the providers we build on: Clerk (sign-in), Convex (database and file storage), Vercel and Cloudflare (hosting), Twilio and Meta (WhatsApp messaging), Stripe (payments), and the AI provider behind each app (for 3D that for me, Meshy receives the photo you send in order to generate the model). Each only receives what it needs for its part.
How long we keep it
Uploaded files and generated results are deleted automatically 90 days after the job finishes. Your account, job history and purchase records stay until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you at any time. Email support@splitlight.co.uk from the address (or WhatsApp number) on the account and we will sort it out.
